CBC was organized on April 4, 1943 by the late Rev. Ennis L. Roberts. On December 25, 1966 CBC received her second pastor, the late Rev. Robert L. Miller, Jr. Rev. Willie J. Harper, Sr. served as interim pastor from November, 2000 to October, 2001. On October 24, 2001 Rev. Kevin L. Nelson was called as the third pastor of CBC.
We trust you will find our Web site informative and inspirational. Please contact us with questions or comments and join us in person on Sundays and on Wednesday evenings as we serve the Lord together. We believe the BIBLE is the inspired WORD of GOD and SALVATION is entirely by GRACE through one's personal faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

NOTE PLEASE: The Youth Ministry will be attending the National Baptist Convention in Mobile, Alabama, June 22-27, 2009. The cost for Hotel Lodging will be $ 130.00 (per person) and payments are ask to be made by June 1st. Everyone will need approx. $120.00 for food, souvenirs, etc.

The Mission Ministry is in need of donations of canned peas, corn or green beans in support of their monthly nursing home ministry at the RiverCenter Care Center.
