Welcome to His Feet Ministries!

Our desire is to travel anywhere there is thirst for God and share the salvation Christ offers so that no one will ever thirst again. We trust you will find our Web site informative and inspirational. Please contact us with questions or comments and join us in person as we serve the Lord together. - John and Rita Feet

“Without God, there is no virtue, because there's no prompting of the conscience. Without God, we're mired in the material, that flat world that tells us only what the senses perceive. Without God, there is a coarsening of the society. And without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”
- President Ronald Reagan, August, 1984
Venus will transit the Sun for most of us on the East Coast during sunrise on June 8th, 2004. DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN DIRECTLY. You must use approved filters and that does not mean sunglasses or colored glass, etc. The transit last occurred in 1886 and will not occur again until 2012. Learn more about the transit here. Psalm 19 reminds us that no man or woman can escape proof of God's existence. The stars join in the chorus of all creation as they speak of their creator day and night. They move about the heavens not in chaos, but in perfectly predictable order. Marvel at God's handiwork as you note the transit of Venus across the sun. And note that He considers you infinitely more important and precious than Venus or the Sun or anything else He has created. Of all His creation, He died only for you and me.
For those of you who just can't live with out web logs or "blogs" as they're called, John has one going. Check it out here. This blog posts applicable scriptural commentary on the happenings of the day. There is also an essay on the proof of the resurrection that you might find interesting.
We have had our battles with Lifeway, they had changed their policy and locked us out for quite a long time. That is resolved now and we will keep the sight updated often. Also don't forget John's blog.
Well, Fall Semester is finally over. John and Rita had 8 final exams between them in the space of four days. All went very well. Rita is now in her Summer intensive Hebrew course. John is in his Bibliography Course for his Master’s Thesis. Also John will be taking a Figures and Traditions in Christian Ethics intensive course June 22-July 2.
John will be preaching up at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Virginia on July 4th. Vacation Bible school at Mount Carmel is next July 12-16th. John will be assisting at Mt. Carmel while Rita will be in Arkansas. Mother has had her second knee replaced and needs her there. Mother is glad she only has two knees.
Rita is still pursuing her MDiv in Women’s Studies. John is pursuing an MA in Christian Ethics requiring a thesis. John is prayerfully considering the PhD program at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
As you can see, there is little let up this summer as we forge ahead to complete our respective degrees. We were not able to schedule a Japan trip this summer because of all the class work required. It was a difficult decision but we know that God has sent us here to Seminary and we need to be good stewards. We are now looking at a possible mission trip in January.
We will try to keep this site updated much more frequently. We appreciate your prayers and support. Please let us know how we can pray for you.
After much prayer we have decided to submit our resume to several churches for consideration as Pastor. If you would like a copy of our resume for consideration, please chose the "contact us" option on the left side of this web page and email us. We will be glad to send you a copy and answer any questions you might have.
